CARE & MAINTENANCE
MITRES & BUTT JOINTS: When assembling mitre, use a liberal amount of a water resistant
glue. Wipe up the "squeeze out" (excess glue) with a damp sponge. DO NOT ALLOW ANY
LIQUIDS TO STAND ON SEAMS. Spills should be wiped up immediately.
REMOVAL OF LABELS: Most labels can be easily removed by soaking with common household
vegetable oil for a few hours. For stubborn labels, use a solvent such as lacquer
thinner or acetone. DO NOT USE RAZOR BLADES OR KNIVES as they could gouge the
surface of the laminate.
HEAT: Protect surface from hot items such as frying pans, griddles, or ovenware as
excessive heat (above 275 degrees) could damage the surface. DO NOT SET HOT ITEMS
DIRECTLY ON COUNTERTOP. Use hot pads or ceramic pot holders. Caution should also be
taken when using countertop appliances (such as electric crock pots, automatic coffee
makers and deep fryers) that could transmit heat from their bottom heating coils.
CLEANING: Clean with mild soap or detergent and warm water. For the occasional
abusive stain, scrub with Bon-Ami® non abrasive cleanser and a damp cloth. Rinse the
laminate with warm water and wipe with a clean, dry cloth to remove any cleaner
residue. (Abrasive cleansers will harm the countertop surface).
SCRATCHES: Most light, everyday scratches can be removed by thoroughly cleaning
the surface with Magic American Corporation's Countertop Magic®.
ATTENTION INSTALLER
CAREFULLY INSPECT ALL PIECES OF THE COUNTERTOP FOR FLAWS, COLOR MATCH, AND FIT BEFORE
